Rosie O'Donnell Says She Won't Host Price
By Sara Hammell
In a video posted late Sunday on her Web site, O'Donnell responds to a fan's e-mail asking: "Why is it such a problem that The Price Is Right shoots in L.A? A lot of people move their families because of a new job."
As a stylist takes a curling iron to her hair, O'Donnell says to the camera: "Here's the thing. I don't really need a job. I'm in a weird position. I don't need the money.

The Donnas Set To Return With New Album/Label
"I wouldn't say we did much of anything different after leaving Atlantic, though it helped that we had more time than we've ever had before to write it. It was very liberating not to have a deadline," says bassist Maya Ford.
Look for the new record in September.

Nascar news
BROOKLYN, Mich. -- Hendrick Motorsports may be interested in obtaining Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s car number, but the organization has yet to make an offer to the driver's current team.
"I have no formal proposals from anyone about the No. 8," Max Siegel, president of global operations at Dale Earnhardt Inc., said Sunday at Michigan International Speedway. "If I get one, anything's possible. We'll talk about it. But I have no formal proposals."
Soon, he likely will. Earnhardt expressed a desire to keep his car number on Wednesday, when his impending move to Hendrick was announced. Team owner Rick Hendrick reiterated his interest in acquiring the No. 8 on Sunday before the Citizens Bank 400. But right now, no one seems exactly sure of what it might take to get it.

The Rolling stones spotlight
Biography by Stephen Thomas Erlewine
By the time the Rolling Stones began calling themselves the World's Greatest Rock & Roll Band in the late '60s, they had already staked out an impressive claim on the title. As the self-consciously dangerous alternative to the bouncy Merseybeat of the Beatles in the British Invasion, the Stones had pioneered the gritty, hard-driving blues-based rock & roll that came to define hard rock. With his preening machismo and latent maliciousness, Mick Jagger became the prototypical rock frontman, tempering his macho showmanship with a detached, campy irony while Keith Richards and Brian Jones wrote the blueprint for sinewy, interlocking rhythm guitars. Backed by the strong yet subtly swinging rhythm section of bassist Bill Wyman...To read more click on the title The Rolling stones spotlight.
