Michael Vick Hopes Jail Is Like The Longest Yard Without All The Throwing
ATLANTA—Recently convicted Falcons quarterback Michael Vick is hoping that the events of his 23-month prison sentence play out similarly to those portrayed in the 2005 Adam Sandler football comedy The Longest Yard except for the movie's emphasis on passing the
ball, sources close to Vick reported Wednesday.
"I keep thinking that Mean Machine quarterback dude should just pull the ball down, maybe pump fake it first a couple times, but just pull it down and go around the end when the prison guards show blitz up the middle," Vick told friends and family at a pre-trial screening of the film. "He could always chuck it into dude's nutsack after the play was over." Vick was reportedly distraught to learn that, except for the probable presence of Michael Irvin, an actual prison would be nothing like the one in the movie
Tiger Woods Putts Baby Into Diaper
ORLANDO, FL—Tiger Woods added yet another accomplishment to his already outstanding résumé Sunday when the 13-time major winner successfully putted his baby daughter, five-month-old Sam Alexis Woods, into a fresh Huggies diaper.
Dressed in his signature red shirt, black pants, and black Nike golf shoes, Woods—who has not played competitive golf in three months in order to stay at home and spend time with his newborn daughter—followed the clutch 12-foot putt with a celebratory fist pump before hugging caddie Steve Williams, who was handling the baby's skin ointment.
"The living room carpet was rolling especially fast today," Woods later told reporters, adding that his maid had vacuumed the night before, "so at first I was naturally hesitant about hitting the baby too hard. But Stevie told me to be firm with the putt, since the room goes slightly uphill near the recliner, and we both knew the baby would move slower there. Especially around where we placed the diaper, because of the changing pad."

How to develop the habit of spending less than you make

If I could write just one thing about achieving financial freedom, it would be this: Spend less than you make.
Like all habits that lead to financial freedom, spending less than you make is simple to understand, but hard to follow. For some reason, we always want more. At times in my life I've made very little, and other times I've made a lot, but at all times I've wanted just a wee bit more. I find it just as difficult to live below my means today as I did 15 years ago making about one-third of what I make today.
The problem isn't about how much we make. We are the problem. This is critical to understand because until you identify the problem, you can't fix it. If you think the problem is your income, you'll spend your energy trying to make more money. While there is obviously nothing wrong with making more money, I speak from experience when I say that making more money will not make spending less than you make any easier.

Story Highlights
LEXINGTON, Nebraska (AP) -- A 13-year-old student with whom a middle school teacher is accused of fleeing to create a romantic life in the boy's native Mexico may be required to stay there.
An illegal immigrant while residing in the United States, 13-year-old Fernando Rodriguez may not be able to return to the rural Nebraska town where he was an eighth-grader.
Kelsey Peterson, 25, and Rodriguez were taken into custody without incident after the boy's relatives told police he had called home asking for money, leading investigators to a shopping mall in the border city of Mexicali on Friday.
Peterson, a sixth-grade math teacher and basketball coach at Lexington Middle School, fled with the boy after police began investigating whether the pair had an intimate relationship, authorities said. Court documents said the boy was last seen October 26.
An international hunt was under way after Peterson's car was spotted crossing into Mexico on Tuesday.
Strike looms as Hollywood writers, studios hold final talks
LOS ANGELES, California (AP) -- Hollywood writers and studio representatives began last-ditch negotiations Sunday in an effort to prevent a strike, the writers union said.
A federal mediator called the meeting between the Writers Guild of America and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television producers at an undisclosed location."The Tonight Show" on NBC will go into reruns starting Monday if a strike begins, a network official says.
The writers' contract expired October 31, and they plan to strike at 12:01 a.m. Monday (3:01 a.m. ET) if a deal cannot be reached.
The first picket lines would be seen at New York's Rockefeller Center, followed by picket lines at various locations in Los Angeles, the guild said.
The writers want more money from the sale of DVDs and a share of revenue generated by the sale of TV shows and films over the Internet.
The studios say the demands are unreasonable and would hamper attempts to experiment with new media.

U.S. destroyer pursuing hijacked ship in Somali waters, military says
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- A U.S. destroyer has entered Somali territorial waters in pursuit of a Japanese-owned ship loaded with benzene that was hijacked by pirates over the weekend, military officials said Monday.
The destroyer USS Porter, shown in 2006, sank pirate skiffs tied to the stern of the hijacked vessel.
The guided-missile destroyer USS Arleigh Burke entered Somali waters with the permission of the troubled transitional government in Mogadishu, U.S. officials said. In recent years, warships have stayed outside the 12-mile limit when chasing pirates.
The ongoing operation was confirmed to CNN by two military officials familiar with the details.
Gunmen aboard two skiffs hijacked the Panamanian-flagged Golden Mori off the Socotra archipelago, near the Horn of Africa, said Andrew Mwangura, a spokesman for Kenya's Seafarers' Assistance Programme.

Michael Jackson marries
About: Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson has allegedly married his children's nanny. The 'Thriller' singer and 40-year-old Grace Rwaramba married in Las Vegas earlier this year, according to real estate documents.
One insider told The National Enquirer magazine: "Grace is one of his dearest friends. She is one of the few people who stood by his side through all of his problems - including the child molestation trial in 2005."
Jackson has been married twice before.
He wed Elvis Presley's daughter Lisa Marie Presley in 1994, but the pair divorced less than two years later.
In 1996, Jackson married his dermatologist's nurse Debbie Rowe, who is mother to his ten-year-old son Prince Michael Jackson II and nine-year-old daughter Paris, but the pair divorced in 1999.
The star also has another son - five-year-old Prince Michael Jackson III nicknamed 'Blanket' - whose mother is not known.
The king of pop has recently been dividing his time between Ireland and Las Vegas and was rumoured to be planning a residency at a Las Vegas hotel.
Las Vegas entrepreneur Jack Wishna said: "I had Jackson on the telephone when he was in Ireland and he was very excited about working in Las Vegas.
"It even got down to the detail of a statue of himself that he wanted out front.
"He also came up with the idea of having his own slot machines. I have a signed contract that he wanted us to put together to market his slot machines in Europe and Asia."
In July, Jackson dropped his Las Vegas plans without any explanation.

Angelina Jolie's school note
About: Angelina Jolie

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have caused such a stir at son Maddox's new school the headmaster has been forced to warn parents not to pester them. Dan Cooke, Director of Operations the Lycée Français de New York - where six-year-old Maddox recently enrolled - has written to parents requesting they stop taking photographs and asking Hollywood's golden couple for autographs.
The letter - which was leaked to the New York Observer newspaper - said: "Regretfully, I have seen some parents taking pictures, asking for autographs, talking to the media and even shouting at Ms. Jolie and Mr. Pitt for recognition.
"Therefore, in the interests of the school and safety of your children I must ask for everyone to please respect the family's privacy and discontinue these practices."
The principle also revealed he met Brad and Angelina's security team before Maddox started at the school in September.
He added: "I want to make you aware that before the first day of school I met with Ms. Angelina Jolie and Mr. Brad Pitt's security team to discuss the best manner in which for them to drop off and pick up their son. Our foremost goal was to cause the least amount of disruption to the school and to ensure the security of all of our students and families."
Meanwhile, Brad and Angelina spent the whole day on Wednesday (26.09.07) meeting with financial and diplomatic leaders to discuss their charity work and promote good causes.
Brad pledged to match donations of up to $5million for the Make It Right initiative, which plans to build 150 environmentally-friendly homes in New Orleans' Lower Ninth Ward.
Angelina - who works as a Goodwill Ambassador for the UN - spoke about improving education standards for children living in war-torn countries.
She said: "These are the children who most need a safe place to learn, a place to heal, a place to learn reconciliation, and a place to just be children. Some think we should only provide emergency relief to children in conflict - they say education is not life-saving. But all of us here today would beg to differ."

Joke Of the week
0 to 200 in 6 seconds
Bob was in trouble. He forgot his wedding anniversary. His wife was
really pissed.
She told him "Tomorrow morning, I expect to find a gift in the
driveway that goes from 0 to 200 in 6 seconds AND IT BETTER BE THERE !!"
The next morning he got up early and left for work. When his wife woke
up, she looked out the window and sure enough there was a box
gift-wrapped in the middle of the driveway.
Confused, the wife put on her robe and ran out to the driveway, brought
the box back in the house.
She opened it and found a brand new bathroom scale.
Bob has been missing since Friday.

MILLER - LITE SPORTSWRITER'S CONTEST - THIS COULD HAPPEN
NEWS FLASH:
Tragedy at today's Talladega race has left 3 drivers
dead and injured 3 others, with only 7 laps to go LeMoyne Crawford spun Sara Casey out, just as she was coming out of turn 4. It was reported that Crawford was heard to say on the radio "that will teach her to bump and run on me." Mired in a tangle of 15 other cars, Casey's car careened into Carl Edwards and the cars began to pile up. It appeared that Earnhardt Jr.'s car struck the car of Tony Stewart right behind the fuel filler spout causing it to explode, showering the whole pileup of cars in burning fuel. Killed in the pileup and fire were Dale EarnhardtJr., Tony Stewart, and Carl Edwards. The injured include Kasey Kane, Jeff Gordon, and Dale Jarrett. Ladies and gentlemen, Dale Jarrett was set to retire at the end of today's race.
Folks, This is a made-up story, but it could happen on any given Sunday because of road rage on the racetracks of our country. Road rage is not something that only happens on the L.A. freeways. Nascar must take steps today to force drivers to alter their thinking.
In my opinion, Nascar has to establish and publish some very extreme penalties for this type of action. The penalties have to be enforced equally across the board for all drivers who intentionally wreck or try to wreck another driver.
I feel that those penalties should include parking the car and the driver if the incident takes place during a race. If the incident takes place after the checkered flag the driver should be parked for the next week's race. In either case, the penalty should also include the forfeiting of the day's winnings and points. If a driver is involved in a second incident during one season, the penalty should be doubled and if there is a third incident involving the same driver , he should be supended for 1 season (36 races).

What is a better level to watch sport's High school, college, professional.
Over and over again My Friend's and I have this debate on what level of sport's is the best meaning, and Most fun to watch? High school, college, professional. Professional Teams you make the most money, girls, fame. The one thing is You are not guaranteed the money. To Many really good player's are cut due to salary cap casualty, and too many player's getting in trouble and have poor attitudes. College you get the credit's chance for higher learning, better job's,Too many player's taking gifts there not suppose to. My Opinion is High school is the best sport's level. Let me explain. We are learning to be men playing a game that is fun. It is fun being at a High school football game, the band, cheerleader's,More family oriented. Plus it doesn't cost allot and close to home.
See what you're getting into before you go there
